Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,000
Location: Earlswood B94
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5 hour working week)

We are working on behalf of a successful and well-established family-run business who are seeking to recruit a confident and organised Administrator to join their friendly team.
This is a varied role combining sales administration, accounts support and general office administration within a busy and growing business. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring a smooth customer journey from quotation through to payment.
Due to the office location in Earlswood, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities;
- As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across the business including call handling, inbox management, order processing and invoicing
- Produce and crosscheck sales quotations ahead of emailing customers
- Process delivery notes and sales invoices accurately
- Manage a busy central inbox, responding to customer enquiries and allocating workload where appropriate
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system
- Cross-check customer orders and internal systems to ensure accuracy
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide a high standard of service
- Accurately input and allocate customer payments
- Raise purchase orders and process goods received
- Update and maintain purchase invoices and prepare supplier invoices for payment
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Obtain quotations from suppliers as required
- Provide general administrative support across the business as required such as handling post, filing and document management
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience within a Sales Administrator, Accounts Administrator or Administrator essential
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy office environment
- Positive and proactive approach to work
- Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
- Confident, engaging personality with a can-do attitude
The office is situated on a secure mezzanine level above the workshop and warehouse operations. As part of a thriving manufacturing environment, you will regularly be around operational activity including deliveries, forklift trucks and production processes. This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a business rather than in a traditional corporate office setting.
