Arboricultural Consultant - Bristol

Our client, a highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a motivated Arboricultural Consultant to join their growing Bristol-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK, including major infrastructure schemes, renewable energy developments, residential projects, and commercial developments. You'll collaborate with a team of experienced arboricultural, ecological, and environmental professionals, delivering expert advice that helps shape sustainable and environmentally responsible development.

Whilst working as an Arb consultant, you will;

  • Undertake tree surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012

  • Prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Arboricultural Method Statements, and technical reports

  • Provide arboricultural input into planning applications and development proposals

  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams

  • Develop tree protection plans and mitigation strategies

  • Support the successful delivery of projects across a variety of sectors

You'll ideally have;

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture or a related discipline

  • Minimum of two years' experience within arboricultural consultancy or a similar role

  • Strong tree identification, surveying, and assessment skills

  • Sound knowledge of BS5837:2012 and relevant planning legislation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Membership of the Arboricultural Association (or working towards membership) would be advantageous

  • Experience using CAD and/or GIS software is desirable
