Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited company, with a strong reputation and busy portfolio of clients in the North West region. You will be working across industrial and commercial premises, to conduct full surveying and analytical duties. Applicants will have a proven record of success within the industry, and will be able to demonstrate robust technical knowledge of the industry and processes. It would be beneficial to have good access to the M62. The ideal candidate will pride themselves on maintaining high service standards and will have a professional manner. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle and training.

Locations of work include: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Hyde, Stockport, Wilmslow, Altrincham, Warrington, Wigan, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, St Helens, Liverpool, Preston, Blackburn, Preston, Burnley, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Southport, Formby, Crosby, Skelmersdale, Birkenhead, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
• Fully conversant in HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
• Professional manner
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Excellent communication skills

The Role:

• Undertaking full management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
• Carrying out 4 stage clearances
• Conducting full air monitoring (leak, personal, re-occupation, smoke and background)
• Re-inspection surveys
• Sampling on site
• Producing site-specific technical reports
• Contacting clients to provide updates and technical advice
• Working across a range of asbestos removals projects
