Salary: £37,570 - £48,620 DOE + Door to Door
Location: Southwest
Shift: Monday – Friday (42.5hrs)
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x
On Call: 1 in 4 weeks / £50 standby + £30 per call out + overtime rates
My client, a specialist automatic door engineering company, is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join their fitter team. You will be involved in installing, maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including automatic doors, steel doors, high-speed doors, roller shutters and sectional doors.
What you’ll be doing in your new Automatic Door Engineer role:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing automatic doors, steel doors, high-speed doors, roller shutters and sectional doors
- Occasionally working on loading bays, dock levellers, dock shelters, buffers, wheel guides, traffic light systems and sectional doors
- Performing basic electrical wiring tasks
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment
- Working as part of a call-out rota
What my client is looking for in an Automatic Door Engineer:
- Experience working on automatic door systems and industrial products including roller shutters, insulated roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, steel doors, gates and barriers
- CSCS, IPAF and PASMA desirable but not essential
- A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Excellent annual earning potential with door-to-door pay
- Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x rates
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Fully equipped company van
- Mobile phone / tablet provided
