Affinity Children’s Care provide a therapeutic children's residential service, offering a variety of residential placements to young people between the ages of 8 – 18 and who may display emotional and challenging behaviours (EBD). The young people placed within our services have often experienced significant adversity and trauma in their young lives and may no longer able to reside within their familial / foster home.

Dual Registered Manager Role

Responsible for the smooth running our 2 residential children's thereaputic homes (2 beded) in Walsall with the passion of working with young people and to be committed to improving the lives of the young people we care for.

To promote  a positive trauma informed culture across both homes.

To ensure high-quality care is given to our young people in accordance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.

To promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of our young people and be responsible for the development and supervision of their team, encouraging professional progression where applicable.

Strong leadership skills within Children’s Residential Care setting.

Lead Ofsted inspections, audits, managing budgets, rota management.

Participate in the management emergency on call rota.

2 years previous experience in a residential management, dual registered as an advantage.

Working hours are 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday), with the requirement on occasion, to work such hours over and above your normal weekly pattern as reasonably required. This would also involve being placed on a 5 week rota to provide out of hours emergency on call.

Qualification

For the Dual Registered Manager position we require a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.  Transferable qualification may be considered but must be recognised by Ofsted inorder to pass 'fit person' Ofsted registration.

A Full UK driving licence is required.
