Class 2 Hgv Driver

Role Overview: Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to support general haulage operations for a client based in Horncastle. This is a long term on going position, providing 5 days per week. 

Position: HGV Class 2 C Driver

Location: Horncastle Lincolnshire

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Long term - on going

Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln

Pay:

• £14.80 per hour (first 8 hours)
• £19.75 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
• Weekly PAYE pay every Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• 06:00 starts 
• 10 - 12 hour days
• Complete 1–3 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide
• Transport goods safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
• All loads forklifted off at each delivery point

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 C licence
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
• Personal transport to get to and from work
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist
