CNC Setter

Location: Halesowen/ Cradley Heath
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm
Hourly Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with milling and turning experience to join our client, a well-established engineering business in Halesowen. Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Selecting and changing tooling as required
- Monitoring production to ensure quality standards are met
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment
- Previous experience operating CNC milling and turning machines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and verniers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
