CNC Turner Programmer & Setter

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £20 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer & Setter to join a skilled and growing engineering team within a high-quality manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a precision-focused individual with a strong background in CNC turning, programming, and machine setup, who takes pride in producing high-quality components.

• Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines (including Mazak, XYZ, and Citizen).
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure all components are manufactured to precise tolerances and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve machining and production issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise manufacturability and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience programming and setting CNC turning machines.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials, particularly metals.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
