About the Company

Our client is an established RC Frame and Groundwork contractor operating throughout London and the South East.

With a strong reputation for delivering complex reinforced concrete frame and groundwork packages, they continue to secure repeat business from a number of leading developers and main contractors.

Current projects range from £10m to £50m and cover residential, commercial, student accommodation and mixed-use developments.

With a healthy pipeline of secured work and further projects due to commence this year, they are continuing to strengthen their senior management team.

About the Role

Due to healthy order books and company expansion, there is need for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a number of RC Frame and Groundwork projects across London and the South East.

As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Teams and Directors whilst maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of live projects whilst helping to support future growth as the business continues to secure new work.

This role offers a genuine opportunity to progress into an Operations Manager or Construction Director position as the company continues its planned growth over the coming years.

About the Requirements

  • Previous experience working for an RC Frame, Groundwork or Civil Engineering contractor.
  • Experience as a Contracts Manager delivering RC Frame and Groundwork projects.
  • Strong understanding of programme management, project delivery and operational performance.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and site-based management teams.
  • Good client-facing and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Candidates currently operating as a Project Manager looking to step up will also be considered.
