Smile Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in the Brierley Hill area, seeking enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support students in completing set work
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Gain valuable experience across a range of subject areas
- Confident leading groups of young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, professional and reliable
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Passionate about education and supporting student development
