CSCS Gateman

We are looking for a reliable and professional 3x CSCS Site Gateman to manage the main entrance of a high-volume industrial project starting on Monday 1st June. As the first point of contact for the site, you will be responsible for maintaining security, managing site logistics, and ensuring the safe flow of plant machinery and delivery vehicles.

This role requires someone who is assertive, organized, and capable of maintaining strict health and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Checking the credentials of all staff, visitors, and subcontractors entering the site.
• Traffic Management: Safely guiding heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and plant machinery into and out of the site, ensuring no disruption to public highways.
• Logistics Coordination: Maintaining a detailed delivery log and directing drivers to the correct loading/unloading zones.
• Health & Safety: Ensuring all visitors have the correct PPE before entering and assisting with site inductions where necessary.
• Security: Monitoring the perimeter and securing the gates at the end of the shift.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card: (Mandatory).
• Gateman / Traffic Marshal Ticket
• Experience: Proven track record working as a Gateman on large-scale industrial or construction projects.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional "front-of-house" manner.
