The Role
You will be responsible for witnessing vendor testing at works test, preparing plant commissioning test specifications, inspecting site installations, and executing testing throughout the commissioning phase. Your responsibilities include fault identification and resolution, organising commissioning technicians, initiating FOBs, validating working instructions, and applying temporary commissioning aids. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams ensuring smooth handovers and system readiness.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:
  • Proven experience in nuclear CE&I systems commissioning
  • Extensive background in vendor testing witnessing and system handovers
  • Expert knowledge of nuclear commissioning procedures and safety standards
  • HNC/HND in an engineering-related subject
  • Project management proficiency, preferably as an APM member
  • Strong skills in calculations and data analysis using Excel
  • Valid IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS or SSSTS, and ECS supervisory cards relevant to trade
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office suite and relevant design tools/software
