Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | London Bridge | Up to £48,000

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer seeking a varied, client-facing role with a leading FM service provider?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team based on a prestigious commercial estate in London Bridge, working across a cluster of buildings in a dynamic, people-focused environment where no two days are the same.

The Role

As the face of the FM operation on site, you'll serve as the primary point of contact on the contract — delivering high-quality electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance across a unique multi-tenanted commercial estate. This is a genuinely client-facing position, so your ability to build strong relationships, communicate with confidence, and consistently deliver outstanding service is every bit as important as your technical expertise.

You'll be electrically or mechanically biased, with a solid background in commercial building maintenance ideally gained across landlord and tenanted environments.

  • Emergency lighting testing and routine maintenance
  • Air conditioning maintenance — AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, coil cleaning)
  • Water treatment — temperature monitoring and logging (non-dosing)
  • Plumbing — general and reactive maintenance
  • Building fabric repairs and tenant-requested works
  • Managing and responding to tenant maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
Hours & Benefits
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (no nights or weekends)
  • Up to £48,000 basic salary
  • Excellent overtime opportunities
  • 25 days annual leave, plus your birthday off
  • Ongoing training and genuine career progression within a growing business
Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 — Electrical or Mechanical
  • City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with a flexible, can-do approach
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
