Whether your background is aviation, marine, communications, infrastructure, power systems, vehicles or defence equipment - your experience maintaining critical electrical systems could make you an excellent fit.

We’re recruiting Electrical Maintenance Engineers to support production operations and maintain critical plant equipment. On-site work is either in Scotland, Wales, York, OR Peterborough.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for electrical maintenance activities that keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include

Electrical fault finding and repair

Maintaining PLCs, drives, motors and control systems

Planned preventative maintenance activities

Supporting upgrades and installations

Diagnosing recurring faults and improving reliability

Maintaining safe working practices and isolation procedures

We’re interested in engineers with backgrounds such as -

REME

RAF Engineering Trades

Royal Navy Engineering Branches

Marine Engineering

Industrial Electrical Maintenance

Heavy manufacturing

Utilities and infrastructure

You’ll ideally bring -

Electrical apprenticeship, military training or equivalent experience

Strong electrical fault-finding skills

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Experience working safely around electrical systems

Strong teamwork and communication skills

18th Edition desirable but not essential.
