Syntech Recruitment are working with a highly successful engineering manufacturer based in Woking who are expanding their production team following the award of a significant new drone manufacturing contract alongside their established range of precision electronic and electromechanical products.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to recruit four Assemblers across both standard electromechanical assembly and soldering-focused positions.

Electro-Mechanical Assembler Role

Working within the production team, you will be involved in the assembly of high-quality electromechanical products and systems.

Duties may include:

  • Electromechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies
  • Working from build instructions and engineering documentation
  • Assembly of small mechanical components using hand tools
  • Fitting components using Torx drivers, screwdrivers and assembly fixtures
  • Handling electronic assemblies and PCBs
  • Working to quality standards and production targets
  • Applying adhesives and completing basic finishing tasks where required

For soldering-focused positions, duties will also include:

  • Through-hole soldering
  • Soldering wires to connectors and small electronic assemblies
  • Basic PCB assembly work
  • Completing soldering work to a high-quality standard

Electro-Mechanical Assembler Profile

  • Previous assembly experience within manufacturing, engineering, electronics or a similar environment
  • Good manual dexterity and practical skills
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

For Soldering Technician positions:

  • Previous soldering experience
  • Confidence soldering wires, connectors or PCB assemblies
  • Willingness to complete a short practical soldering assessment during interview
