Salary: £160 - £220 per day depending on experience

TeacherActive are proud to be working with mainstream secondary schools across Doncaster, who are looking to appoint English Teachers. These schools are committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, while creating positive and inclusive environments where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The schools are looking to take on dedicated English Teachers on both full-time and part-time bases starting from September 2026. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement throughout the classroom.

The successful English Teacher will have:

QTS with an English specialism

Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

The ability to plan and deliver engaging English lessons

A passionate and adaptable approach to teaching
