A well-established specialist civil and structural engineering construction company is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to play a key role in securing a diverse range of projects, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal departments from initial enquiry through to tender submission.

The Role:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Producing bills of quantities and take-offs
• Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
• Liaising with clients and internal teams throughout the tender process
• Supporting handovers to project delivery teams following contract award

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in an Estimator position within construction, civil engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing or a related sector
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
