Fire Door Carpenter – Kensington, London

We are currently recruiting an experienced Fire Door Carpenter for a project in Kensington, London, working on a school refurbishment programme involving the replacement and installation of fire doors throughout the site.

Location: Kensington, London
Duration: 6-7 weeks
Start: Mid July

• Removal and replacement of existing fire doors
• Installation of FD30/FD60 fire door sets
• Fitting frames, ironmongery, seals, hinges, closers and signage
• Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations and specifications
• Completing snagging and remedial works where required
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment within a live school setting

• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire doors
• Good knowledge of fire door regulations and compliance standards
• Own tools and PPE
• Valid CSCS Card
• Ability to work independently and to a high standard
• Enhanced DBS (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
