Flt Counterbalance

Our engineering client, based in Trafford Park, are looking to recruit an experienced FLT driver to cover long term sickness.

Main responsibilities:

• Load and unload machines using a conventional FLT and boom truck (Counterbalance with Forks and Pole Attachments), training on the pole truck will be provided
• Move components safely and efficiently throughout the factory
• Pre-start checks before use
• Load and unload vehicles safely
• Emptying of swarf skips

Key skills:

• Counterbalance licence
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Reasonable level of computer literacy

Hours of work:
Rotating 3 shift pattern.
(6-2; 2-10 and nights). Monday to Friday.
Basic 37 hours per week.

Rate of pay:
£18.37 per hour rising to £18.95 after 3 months work.
 

Successful candidates must pass a drugs & alcohol test prior to starting.
