Curve Recruitment are proud to be representing a highly respected main contractor in their search for a reliable and motivated General Operative to support operations on a live construction site within a secure RAF compound.

Role Overview

As a General Operative, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the site, supporting the wider team with a variety of practical tasks to ensure the project operates safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on and varied position, ideally suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with general site duties and housekeeping.
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised working areas.
• Supporting site logistics and material movements.
• Assisting trades and site management teams as required.
• Helping to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out routine manual handling and labouring tasks.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the project.

Person Specification

• Ability to pass an Advanced DBS check (mandatory for work on RAF sites).
• Previous experience in a construction, labouring or general operative role is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive.
• Comfortable working within a secure environment with strict procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks.
