About the Role

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive humanities department and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world, in line with Department for Education standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Encourage curiosity about global, environmental, and social issues
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community


The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has strong subject knowledge in Geography
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school setting (ECTs welcome)
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
