Grounds Maintenance Operative required for a housing association working in Crewe and Nantwich for an initial 6 month period.
Role
Provide general gardening and grounds‑maintenance services across estates, ensuring high standards, safe working practices, and good customer interaction.
Key Duties
- Grounds maintenance across gardens and communal areas
- Customer interaction and reporting issues (repairs, fly‑tipping, graffiti, safeguarding)
- Safe equipment use including PPE, COSHH and incident reporting
- Vehicle checks and keeping vehicles clean and compliant
- Accurate recording of work and inspections
Essential Experience
- Grounds‑maintenance experience
- Knowledge of lawn, shrub and plant care
- Ability to work physically and safely
- Good customer‑service skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Understanding of COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety
- Full driving licence
Rate is paye or umbrella, 35 hrs per week.
