Head of Primary School

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational educational leader to join a thriving international school in Dubai as Head of Primary.

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking leader who can drive academic excellence, nurture a positive school culture, and lead our Primary phase with energy, professionalism, and vision.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and manage the Primary School across all year groups
• Inspire high-quality teaching and learning
• Support staff development and performance
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ensure excellent pastoral care and safeguarding standards
• Contribute strategically to whole-school improvement and growth

This role is ideal for an established middle or senior leader looking to take the next step within an ambitious international school environment.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A recognised teaching qualification (UK/British) qualification preferred

• Relevant leadership experience within a Primary setting
• Experience with the British curriculum preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative and student-centred leadership approach
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment

Experience working in the UAE or international schools is advantageous but not essential.

Salary & Benefits

• AED 23,000 – 26,000 per month (all-inclusive package including accommodation allowance)
• Annual medical insurance
• Annual flight allowance for travel to the UK
• Initial flight reimbursement upon arrival in the UAE and successful SPEA/KHDA approval
