Location: Duncrue Street, Belfast
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)



About the Role

Manpower is recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their Belfast operation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading waste management and recycling company that is committed to sustainability, safety, and employee development.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and delivery of waste materials while providing a professional service to customers across Northern Ireland.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
  • Collect and transport waste materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards when attending customer sites.
  • Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Assist operational teams as required to support the smooth running of the site.


Essential Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous HGV driving experience.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.


Desirable

  • Experience within the waste, recycling, environmental, or industrial sectors.
  • ADR certification (advantageous but not essential).
