About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a successful and growing manufacturing organisation based in West Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional to partner with the HR Director and operational leaders to bring something special to the HR team whilst driving people and business performance, employee engagement, and organisational growth.

Working closely with senior managers across manufacturing, operations, and support functions, you will provide strategic and operational HR support in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key to this role is the ability to make a difference, challenge the norm and bring energy and enthusiasm to the HR offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and leaders to provide expert HR advice and guidance across the employee lifecycle.
  • Support and challenge stakeholders to drive high performance and employee engagement.
  • Lead on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance management matters.
  • Coach and develop line managers to build people management capability.
  • Support organisational change projects, restructures, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends and develop targeted interventions.
  • Contribute to talent management, succession planning, and workforce development strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practice.
  • Support recruitment activity for key operational and leadership positions.
  • Drive diversity, inclusion, wellbeing, and employee engagement initiatives across the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or equivalent role.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or industrial environment.
  • Strong employee relations expertise and knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience partnering with operational and senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
