A well-respected secondary school in Tonbridge is seeking to appoint a passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a rewarding teaching role within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The successful candidate will teach Computer Science and ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. The school is looking for an individual who can inspire students to develop confidence in programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Computer Science and ICT across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging lessons covering programming, coding, and digital technology
• Preparing students for GCSE Computer Science examinations
• Monitoring and supporting student progress
• Contributing to curriculum development and extracurricular technology clubs

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and ICT
• Be confident teaching programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Be passionate about technology and education
