SC/DV Cleared Java Software Engineer | Outside IR35 | £450 per day | Contract | Full remote

We're looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join an agile development team working on complex, high-security software solutions. You'll be involved throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to deployment, testing, and support.



Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions
  • Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop automated tests including unit, acceptance, and performance testing
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
  • Contribute to code reviews, planning, and estimation sessions
  • Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams in an agile environment

  • Strong Java development experience
  • Agile development mindset with experience in:
    • TDD / BDD
    • Continuous Delivery
    • DevOps practices
    • Pair Programming
