Are you a Junior/Trainee Vehicle Mechanic looking for a long-term and stable career, with plenty of on-the-job training and progression into a fully qualified HGV Mechanic?

Are you looking to join a long-standing and stable company where you will be fully workshop based, in a varied Monday to Friday role with an excellent work-life balance?

In this hands-on role you will be dealing with light goods vehicles such as vans and cars that have been planned in for maintenance or servicing, then completing the required jobs on the vehicles. You will gain further training on HGVs once fully up to speed.

Founded in the early 90's, this contract hire and fleet management company work closely with local authorities across the country and pride themselves on their extremely stable growth and commitment to sustainability. This role will be working out of a new workshop which they have gained through their continuous expansion.

This role would suit a Junior/Trainee Mechanical or Vehicle Technician, looking to progress their career in a large, expanding business, where they can move into a fully qualified HGV Technician.

The Role:

• Hands-on maintenance, repairs, and servicing of light goods vehicles
• Working on vans, cars, and road sweepers for example
• Clear progression into HGVs
• Workshop based, with very occasional on site call outs
• Monday - Friday, days-based, 39 hours a week
