The Role:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and independence
Monitor progress and use assessment effectively to drive pupil attainment
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and classroom standards
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil success
Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school community
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school setting
Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching practices
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
Adaptable, positive, and committed to delivering high-quality education
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
ECTs are welcome to apply and will be fully supported within the role
