Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, part time
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Clitheroe that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing school community where children are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The role is initially part-time, with opportunities to increase to a full-time position for the right candidate.
Job Description
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils in reaching their full potential. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, monitor pupil progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress.

Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Contributing to the wider life of the school.

Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
Essential Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary Education.

Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to Work in the UK.

Ability to reliably commute to Clitheroe.

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2

Excellent classroom management skills.

Strong communication and organisational abilities.

A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience leading a curriculum subject area.

Knowledge of current educational practices and assessment frameworks.

Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
-
Ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

Experience working collaboratively within a wider school team.
