We’re pleased to be supporting a well-established and growing creative production business is looking to recruit an experienced Large Format Print Operator to join its production team in Leeds.
The company works with a diverse range of clients across the hospitality, leisure, events, food & drink, retail, and entertainment sectors, producing high-quality visual communications, branded environments, point-of-sale materials, event graphics, signage, and promotional displays for businesses ranging from ambitious start-ups through to nationally recognised brands.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, creative environment where no two projects are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality printed products, ensuring jobs are produced accurately, efficiently and on time.
This role is working on a permanent day shift - 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
The Role
You will be responsible for the production of a wide range of large format print work across various substrates, operating modern print and finishing equipment to deliver everything from short-run projects to large-scale campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating large format print equipment including roll-to-roll and flatbed printers
- Preparing and setting up print jobs using RIP software
- Managing print workflows and ensuring production schedules are met
- Monitoring print quality and carrying out colour management procedures
- Performing routine maintenance and upkeep of print and finishing equipment
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Finishing printed products including laminating, mounting, vinyl application and cutting
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed to specification and deadline
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience within a large format print production environment
- Experience operating large format print machinery
- Knowledge of RIP and workflow software such as Onyx, Fiery or similar
- Understanding of colour management and printer calibration
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with large format finishing processes
- Good understanding of health and safety within a production environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
