Lead Engineer
Job Description
- Lead the design, development and delivery of automotive components and systems, ensuring projects meet customer requirements and quality standards
- Drive technical problem-solving activities, identifying design issues and leading teams to implement effective solutions
- Manage and coordinate CAD and CAE activities, overseeing the delivery of 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation to industry standards
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, tooling engineers, and manufacturing teams to support product development, launch activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with design, regulatory, and quality requirements while supporting NPI processes, DFMEA creation and production-related engineering changes

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience leading automotive product development projects, with a strong understanding of component and system design principles
- Demonstrable experience managing NPI activities
- Strong knowledge of CAD design, engineering drawings, GD&T, DFMEA, and automotive quality standards and processes
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
