Learning Support Assistant

Berkhamsted School is seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support a KS3 pupil with Special Educational Needs. They will provide tailored support across academic, social and emotional aspects of school life, both in and out of the classroom. The role involves working closely with teaching staff, parents and external specialists to implement the pupil’s EHCP, promote independence, build confidence and support effective communication and peer relationships.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a secondary setting, be confident using ICT, and demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.

This is a fixed-term, part-time (25 hours per week), term-time only position.
