Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 Manual/CNC Miller/Turners on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manual/CNC Miller/Turners looking for a permanent position with a successful company offering long-term career prospects, overtime and training.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating 3-shift pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 10:00pm - 6:30am

Duties:

• Operating milling, turning and cutting machinery
• Carrying out general machining duties
• Basic machinery maintenance
• General housekeeping within the machine shop
• Operating lifting equipment including cranes, magnets and slinging equipment
• Working safely and adhering to health and safety procedures
• Supporting production and manufacturing operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Manual/CNC Miller/Turners, 
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, foundry or heavy industry environments would be advantageous
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern
• Keen to learn and develop new skills
