What you'll be doing
You’ll lead the development and implementation of local and global marketing campaigns, events, and training plans to support recruitment targets and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering outreach campaigns to boost brand awareness and drive student recruitment.
- Building and maintaining relationships with university stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with recruitment needs.
- Organising and managing events such as open days, workshops, and information sessions within local communities.
- Developing training tools and calendars for sales, admissions, and agents, including webinars and online sessions.
- Creating tailored messaging for each stage of the student journey using CRM automation.
- Conducting market research to inform campaigns and provide insights on competitor positioning.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce marketing materials, including printed collateral, social media content, paid media campaigns, and alumni engagement activities.
- Managing and mentoring Marketing Executives or Assistants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
Person Specification
Essential:
- A degree or equivalent marketing qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role within a commercially driven environment.
- Proven expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing, ideally within the education sector.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe tools (InDesign) and online graphic platforms like Canva.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and generative AI tools.
- Exceptional copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in marketing leadership or management roles.
- Familiarity with print and digital campaign planning.
- Understanding of non-traditional learner audiences and UK-funded studies.
About the team
You’ll work closely with the Deputy Director, Partner Marketing, and collaborate with a dynamic marketing team, including specialists in community, performance, and social media. You’ll also liaise with recruitment, admissions, and centre teams to maximise outcomes and ensure alignment across functions.
