Peterborough | £75,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

This is an opportunity to join a progressive contractor where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical projects while working alongside experienced commercial, operational and technical teams.

The Position

• Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
• Lead project teams, site managers, engineers and subcontractors
• Monitor project performance against programme and commercial objectives
• Manage procurement activities and subcontractor packages
• Attend client, consultant and site progress meetings
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Oversee commissioning, snagging and project close-out activities
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and quality procedures
• Support commercial teams with variations and change management
• Produce regular project reports for senior management

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager within the Building Services sector
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and associated mechanical systems
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness and experience managing project performance
• A proactive and solutions-driven approach to project delivery
