About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mechanical Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. You will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and repair works across a range of mechanical building systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
- Maintain domestic water systems in line with L8 compliance
- Service and maintain HVAC equipment and associated plant
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Maintain pumps, motors, valves, heating systems, and pressure systems
- Ensure all maintenance records are completed accurately
- Support safe systems of work and comply with all health & safety procedures
- Build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Participate in the on-call rota and support out-of-hours callouts where required
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Mechanical or plumbing qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience working within commercial and/or domestic environments
- Knowledge of plumbing, drainage, and water systems
- Experience maintaining pumps, motors, valves, and heating systems
- Understanding of L8 water hygiene requirements
- Strong awareness of health & safety regulations
- Good communication and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Desirable
- HVAC and air handling unit experience
- Building Management Systems (BMS) knowledge
- Experience with pressure systems and pressurisation units
- Unvented systems certification
- Facilities Management experience
- Knowledge of district heating or compressed air systems
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime and weekend work available
- Participation in on-call rota required
