Mechanical Fitter

Roles vary from workshop-based positions to site-based and mobile service roles, with both day shifts and shift work available.

Depending on the role, responsibilities may include:

• Mechanical fitting, assembly, and machine build
• Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment
• Fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Installation and commissioning of machinery
• Working from engineering drawings and schematics
• Supporting production and engineering teams to maintain performance

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, or assembly
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
• Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred but not essential)
• A proactive, hands-on approach and good problem-solving skills

Qualifications are welcome but not essential, practical experience is key.

• Salaries typically ranging from £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
