Microbiology Assistant

This Brigg Scientific client are a Food testing Laboratory in Derby and they are looking to add a new Lab Technician to their testing team.

 The role will involved,

• Incoming sample preparation.
• Microbiology testing
• Use of Aseptic Techniques
• Wet Chemistry Techniques
• Associated Lab Technician work
• Quality paperwork.

No specific experience is necessary as full training will be giving, however applicants should have some kind of education within a Science subject from A Level or degree, or have a good interest in the Sciences.

Applications are invited from recently qualified Graduates looking for their first role.

Shift involves working 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday.

The role starts initially as a Temporary contract and has a pay rate of £12.71/hr.
