Are you a skilled Multi-Trade Operative looking for a rewarding opportunity in the social housing sector? We are currently seeking two dedicated professionals to join our team in East Ham for a temporary contract. This is your chance to make a positive impact on the lives of residents while utilising your diverse skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine the most effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports related to maintenance work.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or in a similar role, ideally within the social housing sector.
- Proficiency in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in trades (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are desired within Plumbing & Carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
- A full UK driving license is required, as travel between sites may be necessary.
