We are currently recruiting for Night Care Assistants to join a highly regarded care home in Solihull.

The home provides specialist nursing and dementia care, supporting residents in a warm, respectful and person-centred environment.

Role details:

• Night Care Assistant
• Based in Solihull, B91
• £12.71 per hour
• Permanent position
• 5 vacancies available
• Night shifts only
• 12-hour shifts
• 7:15pm – 7:15am
• Two-week rolling rota
• Week one: 36 hours
• Week two: 48 hours
• Average of 42 hours per week
• Working with older people
• Nursing and dementia care setting
• Female applicants preferred due to resident care needs

Duties will include:

• Supporting residents throughout the night
• Providing personal care respectfully and professionally
• Supporting with mobility and moving and handling
• Promoting dignity, comfort and reassurance
• Assisting with continence care and night-time routines
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and reporting concerns
• Working as part of a care team
• Completing care records accurately

Candidate requirements:

• Previous care experience is preferred
• Must be comfortable providing personal care
• Dementia care experience would be advantageous
• Reliable, compassionate and professional approach
• Able to work night shifts on a rolling rota
• Must have the right to work in the UK
