Hours: Part-Time (2 days a week)
Salary: £14.00 hourly rate

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, highly organised Patient Coordinator to join our leading fertility clinic on a part-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring patients receive a seamless, supportive experience throughout their fertility journey. You will act as a key point of contact for patients, coordinating appointments, providing administrative support, and delivering exceptional customer service in a sensitive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in person
  • Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient clinic scheduling
  • Guide patients through their treatment journey, providing clear information and support
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with GDPR and clinic policies
  • Liaise with clinical teams (doctors, nurses, embryologists) to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Handle patient enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
  • Support billing, invoicing, and payment processes where required
  • Assist with administrative tasks including document preparation and data entry
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery are consistently maintained

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a patient-facing or customer service role (healthcare experience desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management systems (or similar CRM systems)
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a fertility, healthcare, or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of fertility treatments and patient pathways
  • Experience handling confidential medical information

Compliance Requirements

  • DBS documents (Disclosure and Barring Service) is required for this role
