A growing construction consultancy based in London is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its close-knit team. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work across a diverse range of projects, including high-end residential developments, private members' clubs and bespoke refurbishment schemes. The successful Project Manager will enjoy significant responsibility from day one, working closely with clients and senior leadership whilst playing a key role in project delivery.

This Project Manager role would suit either an established Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to take the next step. The Project Manager will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, supporting both project management and contract administration functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager seeking exposure to a varied project portfolio within a consultancy that offers genuine progression and autonomy.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of projects from inception through to completion, acting as a key point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects across residential, hospitality and private members' club sectors
  • Supporting and undertaking Contract Administration duties
  • Assisting with Employer's Agent responsibilities where required
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
  • Monitoring project programmes, budgets and key milestones
  • Managing project risks and reporting on project performance
  • Supporting procurement and tender processes
  • Chairing meetings and producing project documentation
  • Maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery
  • Assisting with project handovers and completion processes



The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • Previous construction consultancy experience
  • Experience within residential construction projects
  • Exposure to Contract Administration and/or Employer's Agent duties
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating consultants and contractors
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of projects
  • Chartered status or progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent would be advantageous
  • The ambition to develop within a growing consultancy environment
