Project Manager – Groundworks, Civil Engineering & RC Frame

Rate: DOE (Depending on Experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established contractor specialising in Groundworks, Civil Engineering and Reinforced Concrete (RC) Frame projects across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Project Manager or an ambitious Senior Engineer / Project Engineer with management experience who is looking to take the next step into a full Project Manager role.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is seeking a driven and commercially aware individual to take ownership of a significant project in North London, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the successful delivery of groundworks, RC frame and civil engineering packages from inception through to completion.
• Lead site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programme, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, resources and programme milestones.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and commercial challenges.
• Produce and manage project reporting, planning and delivery schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience within the Groundworks, Civil Engineering or RC Frame sectors.
• Previous experience in a Project Manager, Senior Engineer or Project Engineer position.
• Strong technical understanding of groundworks, RC structures and civil engineering works.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred.
• A proactive approach with the ambition to progress and develop within the business.
