We are recruiting for a technically strong Project Manager with a background in fire & security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer ready to step into a leadership and delivery-focused role.
The position will involve overseeing small to medium commercial projects, pricing works, supporting tenders, and developing relationships with local business clients (local, regional focus).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of fire & security installation projects
- Prepare quotations, costings, and tender submissions
- Support and develop local business relationships and repeat clients
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and project timelines
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide technical input across system design and specification
What we're looking for
- Strong background in fire & security engineering (senior level ideal)
- Experience in estimating, quoting, or tendering work
- Good commercial awareness and client-facing ability
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple projects
- Based in or around Manchester
