The opportunity

This is a hands on leadership role where you will shape results every day. You will not

carry out your own surveys or sales appointments. Instead you will be the mentor coach

and first point of contact for surveyors in your region. Your focus will be to drive high

performance to hit KPIs and sales targets. Build a winning culture across multiple

depots. If you love being present in the field guiding people to better results and turning

data into action this is for you. High earning potential comes through a strong base

package and a quarterly bonus tied to team results.

What you will do

  • Provide day to day management and support to surveyors across your depots
  • Monitor depot level KPIs and performance against sales volume targets
  • Make regular in person visits with surveyors to keep provide ongoing training and development
  • Support operations with ongoing technical training to reduce survey errors
  • Track individual performance trends, issues and opportunities
  • Run structured reviews set clear expectations and give timely feedback
  • Address underperformance with supportive improvement plans
  • Motivate and challenge surveyors to achieve and exceed targets
  • Be visible involved and responsive as the first point of contact for sales queries
  • Assist in recruitment, onboard and train new surveyors as needed for your region
  • Use available data to guide decisions and report on regional performance trends and challenges
  • Report to the National Sales Manager and present to the Senior Leadership Team when required
  • Lead depot and regional meetings and join occasional head office sessions

About you

  • Proven people leadership in field sales or surveying teams
  • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals and coaching methods
  • Data driven mindset with the ability to create deliverable action plans
  • Patient, credible and action focused with high standards and empathy
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region

How success will be measured

Performance is tracked at depot level using the same metrics surveyors work to.

Average order value, discount rate, quote to sale conversion and total sales volume.

Each depot will also have a quarterly sales volume target set by Finance.

Package

  • Base salary: £60,000 per year
  • Car or car allowance: £500 / month
  • Fuel card
  • Quarterly bonus linked to team revenue based on KPIs achieved and sales volume target
