We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our growing healthcare team at Oakhill Secure Training Centre, a custodial environment supporting young people aged 12–18.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver specialist, trauma-informed care to children with learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental needs and co-occurring mental health difficulties. Your work will directly shape the quality and accessibility of healthcare for some of the most vulnerable young people in the justice system.
You will be responsible for: holistic assessments, care and PBS plan development, medication administration, pre-release planning, and delivering psychoeducation and wellbeing interventions tailored to individual needs.
To be considered, you will need: an NMC pin (no restrictions), a degree-level qualification, and at least one year of clinical experience. Experience in a secure environment is essential.
