We are seeking a motivated Remediation Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Remediation Engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Manchester.

As a Remediation Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in Manchester, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
  • Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
  • Support earthworks and materials management activities
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a Remediation Engineer who is practical, detail-focused, and keen to grow their career.

  • Degree in Remediation Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
  • Experience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)
  • Live within a commutable distance of their Manchester office
  • Full UK driving licence
