GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Dinnington. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning in a way that suits their individual needs and abilities.

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will play a key role in providing consistent, tailored support that enables pupils to feel confident, included, and ready to learn.

Key Duties of SEN TA:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN

• Adapt support to meet individual learning and communication needs

• Work closely with class teachers to deliver personalised learning strategies

• Support pupils in developing independence and classroom engagement

• Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation where required

• Monitor and feedback on pupil progress and wellbeing

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN

• Calm, patient, and supportive approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to adapt to different learning needs and environments

• Commitment to supporting pupil development and inclusion

• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
