I have been instructed to source an outstanding SENCO applicant for a client school in Brent. The school site caters to post 16 MLD students offering 5 classes for students aged 16-19 years.The school have budgeted for a salary of £51,151 - £60, 352 per annum and are keen to secure a suitable hire in time for September.
The SENCO Position
This SENCO position is a key appointment for the Brent site both ion terms of bolstering the leadership in school as well as forming a key plank in their succession management and growth plans for the coming years. Blessed with good transport links, a well established team and students who are well behaved, emotionally well regulated and engaged in their education this school offers an opportunity to grow professionally in a safe environment under the wing of outstanding leaders.
The Brent School Site
The Brent school site is well appointed, small enough to feel like a community but not so large to be intimidating. You will be joining the school at an pivotal time as they open new sites both in September and in the coming 12-18 months as part of a wider expansion of the group. The SLT are organised, experienced, proactive, approachable and realistic about the challenges and attainments achievable in the coming year.
You will be given an exciting opportunity to work as a part of an expanding group of schools, where your energy and experience will be valued. You will enjoy a high degree of job satisfaction as you have the opportunity to apply your skills to working with students in Post 16 . You will be working with the teams to provide personalised support to help each student thrive. The cohort of students will focus on key pathways for Preparation for Adulthood through enriched programmes such as ASDAN, Pearson and NCFE.
